New adventure

I wish I was more consistent with blogging, but I'm just busy being a mom. Writing in my journal has been more important and with the addition of facebook that has freed me up from not blogging. My birthfamilies are my friends and they get updates when they happen. We are starting another new adventure and that is another adoption. I know some people may be thinking "wow 3!" or maybe they are thinking "good it's about time for another one for them" Whatever your feelings may be just know that those are both of the things I've been thinking. over the last few months. I've already started the adoption process again for the third time and have already found snags in the system. Turns out there is not an adoption case worker for the state of New Mexico. Which makes me feel a littler like I'm the case worker for myself. Just because there is no case worker with LDS Family Services doesn't mean that haven't been helpful and tried to get everything taken care of legally. It just means I don't have a direct contact and a bunch a little hoops to just through. In a couple of weeks I hope to have my information posted on www.itsaboutlove.com and hoping for the next addition to our family. So I'm spreading the word, we need our next child to find his or her way to our home. Tell everyone you know and I'll keep you posted.

Seneca

Our family was blessed this weekend with a new baby girl. Seneca Mary was born June 4, 2011 at 8:44 AM 7lbs 3 oz 19inches long. She is such a joy to our family. Her birthmother chose our family just a week ago. We haven't even been able to grasp the full concept of having a baby so fast! Adoption is such a blessing and we now have more members to our family tree, with Seneca's birthfamily. They are all such special people who have also added us to their family. The love that spread in the last few days is so amazing it can't even be expressed. We had an amazing time in the hospital after she was born getting to know her birthmother and is was nice to share in the experience.

Disneyland March 2011

We celebrated with Krista's family in California. We all got to go and spend three full days in the Disneyland parks! We had the best time. Kaub was so excited to see all of the different things. There was so much to see, you could never fit it all in. Kaub was even able to go on most of the rides with us. He says he liked the roller coaster but he gets a little scared so he was putting on his tough face. We loved every minute of the much needed vacation.

It's another year and time just flies by! Since the last post we haven't been able to finish up the paperwork for the next adoption. Man it sure takes a lot to get all of that done. We should be finished within the next couple of weeks and then the actual waiting begins. I wish that it would just happen over night. We need another baby in our family and I can't wait for it to happen again! Cross your fingers and spread the word.

Adoption Trail

Daven and I are on another adoption trail in search of another child to come into our family. We are looking to add more to our family with adoption. It's the only way. We know Kaub needs a brother or sister to learn to share. That is Kaub's favorite word lately. "share". He doesn't quite know what it means but he likes to say it. We know that a lot of adoptions happen from someone knows someone knows someone. So please keep us in your thoughts again as we search for a child to add to the Farr family.

Easter 2010

We took a buggy ride out into the New Mexico desert and hunted for eggs in the bushes. The kids loved it. There's Porter, Payson (Kaub's cousins) and Ivy our friend. I know there baskets are a ittle funky but they didn't care. Kaub only cared about the candy inside!!!
