Kaub has discovered his hair. He pulls it all of the time. And I finally captured it on film. Good thing he has a lot of hair that if he pulls on it, you can't tell. He's getting fatter by the minute too.
"My parents made it through our first full Sunday at church. Daddy held me the whole sacrement meeting. Good thing I was asleep. After crying during the opening prayer during sunday school, finally mom got the bottle fixed, she tried to heat up the cold bottle, then the bottle exploded all over myself, getting another bottle made and a clean blanket out of the car, I finished up the cold bottle because I was just hungry, I cried a lot, we made it to sunday school just in time for the closing prayer and there I slept again. Good first week!"

ZION'S NATIONAL PARK

Daven's mom said that any trip wouldn't be complete if we didn't have a shot of us with Daven holding the camera looking down on us. So here it is. Daven holding the camera on our drive to Zion's National park near St. George, UT. We met Krista's family for a little family reunion for a few days. We had so much fun hiking and getting hot. But there was rain and a river close by to cool off. We hiked to the top of Angel's Landing which was pretty scary but really fun. Even Krista's mom made most of the journey to the top!!
Our adoption story is continuing and our prayers are with birthmother's everywhere!!

Camping June 2008

Another campout with the farr family. One of many. We love to be out in the woods and the weather has finally cooperated so we could enjoy the outdoors. Here's our little family in a tree. But soon our family will be expanding.
Still hoping for the joys of adoption!!

Kalie's 21st birthday

For Kalie's 21st birthday we took the toys out to play. Which means, dirt, breezes and smiling. Can't have fun without Daven and his joy. I think we took the hill 20 times. Up and down. Until after that we were a little more daring and ended up braking the wheel on the buggy and had to tow it in with the 4-wheeler. Can't have a party without braking something.

Texas again!

We went to Texas again and saw Daven's Aunt Lucille and Aunt Jeannette. They gave us their player piano. We've are so honored to have it. It's an antique. We took our parents. Daven and Krista's in the same car on the way home to AZ. They get along so well and we enjoyed stopping at all of antique shops along the way. Krista's mom bought a new armoire while she was there. We sure she only looked at armoire because we already bough a trailer to haul the piano home what's one more thing. We definately made some more memories. This picture is us in front of the San Antonio temple.
